TripAdvisor Continues Its Acquisition Spree, Buys GateGuru Mobile App For Real-Time Travel Information
Travel portal TripAdvisor continues to push ahead with its mobile and social acquisitions: today the company announced that it has acquired GateGuru, a mobile app that provides real-time information on airports, weather, and flights -- much of it picked up from crowdsourcing, much like Waze does with road travel. Chopped Review: Going Back to Their Roots
This week, Chopped explored its “hippie” side by centering the baskets around ingredients such as chia seeds, wheatgrass, and tempeh.
Do you even know what those are? Exactly.
The show encouraged several of the chefs to explore vegetarian recipes like never before, and the results were both unpredictable and delicious.

The impressive quartet of culinary competitors Tuesday was comprised of chefs, executive chefs and restaurant owners from Philly to Texas.
Which chef came out on top in this episode of the Food Network hit?
Our friends at Food Fanatic will tell you in their Chopped review!

The Voice Winner: Crowned!
After a season of countless unforgettable performances, it all came down to one final results show on The Voice. Who was named the winner of Season 4?
Would it be The Swon Brothers, the Oklahoma country crooners on Team Blake Shelton, who shocked everybody by even making it to the finals?
Could indie-rock leaning Michelle Chamuel make Usher a winner against Blake's two proteges, continuing the show's tradition of unorthodox champs?
Or would it be Danielle Bradbery, the terrific Texas teen who many felt was the favorite from the start, due to her electric talent and magnetic likability?
Clearly, the final three performers, like the singing competition overall, offers an embarrassment of riches and something to suit everyone's tastes.
But there can be only one champion, and after millions and millions of votes cast, that person (or persons) has been revealed. The moment of truth:
The winner of The Voice Season 4 is ...
Danielle Bradbery!!
"I'm so thankful," said an overwhelmed-looking Bradbery, just 16, after her win as her eyes brimmed with tears. "I'm sorry, I'm speechless."
This is the third win in a row for Shelton, who also mentored Jermaine Paul and Cassadee Pope, and who celebrated his 37th birthday Tuesday.
Michelle Chamuel took second and the Swon Brothers third in what was a fantastic season for the artists, coaches and overall show camaraderie.
Do you agree with the way it turned out?
What do you think of The Voice finale results? Did Danielle deserve to win? Or was she second to one of the other standouts in your mind? Vote:
ERN Raises Further $1.6M To Use Big Data To Help Banks And Merchants Push Loyalty-Based Offers
BIG DATA costs big bucks. Perhaps then, it should be no surprise to see ERN, the London-based startup that's planning to use Big Data to enable banks and merchants to create loyalty-based offers for cardholders, has announced that it’s raised more funding before actually managing to launch. Following a $2 million funding round raised last December, the company has added another $1.6 million in seed funding to its coffers.
Mary Elizabeth Winstead Joins Logan Marshall Green on Cinemax Pilot ‘Quarry’ (Exclusive)
Cinemax has found Quarry's rock.
Mary Elizabeth Winstead has been cast on the Cinemax drama pilot, "Quarry," opposite star Logan Marshall Green, TheWrap has learned exclusively.
She will play Joni, Quarry's (Green) wife, who is one of the few who stands by her husband after he returns from the Vietnam War.

Written by Graham Gordy and Michael D. Fuller, the project follows Quarry, a Vietnam vet who evidently learned his lessons all too well during his time overseas. Now he's home, earning a living as a cold, remorseless hitman, taking orders from a man called simply The Broker (Stellan Skarsgard).
Directed by John Hillcoat, the project is set in the 70s and is based on Max Allen Collins' pulp detective novels.
Winstead most recently starred in the last two "Die Hard" films as John McClane's (Bruce Willis) daughter Lucy. Her other film credits include "The Thing" and "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World."

‘The Voice’ Wraps Season 4, Crowns New Winner (Video)
NBC's "The Voice" crowned its Season 4 winner on Tuesday's finale.
Note: Spoilers ahead if you haven't watched Tuesday's finale.
Giving Team Blake Shelton its third win of the talent show's run, Danielle Bradbery won America's hearts in a combination of votes and iTunes downloads to snag the season's top spot.
The Texas native was speechless once she heard her name announced as the winner and was unable to finish performing her victory song, Sara Evans' "Born To Fly," which she performed to much praise on Monday's episode. At 16 years old, Bradbery is the youngest winner of the NBC competition's run.

Bradbery beat out a couple tough finalists for the coveted win: Fellow Team Blake act, The Swon Brothers, and Team Usher's pop rocker, Michelle Chamuel.
A parade of stars performed on "The Voice" stage during the two-hour preamble to the winner's announcement.
Cher performed her newest single, "Woman's World," off her upcoming album. And after taking the season off from coaching, a slimmed down Christina Aguilera performed with Pitbull on their single, "Feel This Moment; Country act Florida Georgia Line and rapper Nelly performed "Cruise"; and Bruno Mars staged a big band throwback with "Treasure."
Aside from group performances with returning contenders, the finalists got the chance to duet with guest star performers: Bradbery with Hunter Hayes, The Swon Brothers with Bob Seger and Chamuel with OneRepublic.

Bradbery's season will go down as one of the show's most memorable. It took the risk of replacing Aguilera and Cee Lo Green with Usher and Shakira and it paid off. Viewers accepted the new coaches very quickly and the show held on to its ratings numbers compared to its previous season.
In May, TheWrap was the first to report that Aguilera and Green are returning for Season 5. Soon after, NBC announced that Shakira and Usher would return for its sixth season.
Most notably, this season held on to its viewers while Fox's "American Idol" saw a more than 20 percent drop in its Season 12 ratings followed by the departures of judges Randy Jackson, Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj.

The departure of longtime reality chief Mike Darnell would signal unrest for "Idol." Big changes are going down at the rival talent show as TheWrap reported first that Fox had fired founding executive producers Nigel Lythgoe and Ken Warwick.
Fox would then place David Hill, a seasoned executive at its parent company News Corp., in charge of overseeing "Idol" and "The X Factor." That was followed by the hiring of Swedish "Idol" producer Per Blankens as "Idol's" showrunner.
When we asked "Voice" producer Mark Burnett why "The Voice" continued to thrive with viewers while "Idol" was faltering, he said "The audience had gravitated toward 'The Voice' mainly because it's a kinder show. There's no humiliation on it. I feel that that's very, very important with audiences."

ITV Pays $30M For Controlling Stake In ‘Hatfields & McCoys’ Producer Thinkfactory Media
In yet another U.S. acquisition, Britain’s ITV is taking a controlling stake in reality, entertainment and drama producer Thinkfactory Media. Among the company’s credits are the award-winning miniseries Hatfields & McCoys. ITV will pay $30M for a 65% share of the company with a put and call option to buy the remaining 35%. The option could be exercised from between 3 years after the initial deal and at the end of year 5 with the total amount paid linked to the performance of the company over that period. Late last year, ITV acquired a controlling interest in Duck Dynasty producer Gurney Productions and in May it took a slice of Cake Boss maker High Noon Entertainment. Other recent acquisitions include UK production company The Garden. The takeovers are part of ITV’s five-year Transformation Plan.
LA-based Thinkfactory was founded in 1992 by Leslie Greif. Its portfolio includes R&B Divas, Preachers’ Daughters, Marriage Bootcamp and The Hook-Up as well as new drama series Texas Rangers for the History Channel.
ITV chief Adam Crozier says, “We’re gathering real momentum in building a substantial U.S. presence, which is central to our strategy of creating a strong international content business. The acquisition of Thinkfactory Media is clearly a further significant step forward in achieving that goal.”
